NGO websites in Kenya where donors give by M-Pesa

People want to give. Many leave because giving is hard. I build NGO websites where a donor taps "Give", pays on their phone with M-Pesa, and gets a thank-you.

How a donor gives

  • They tap Give. They pick an amount or type their own.
  • They enter their phone number. A payment request pops up on their phone.
  • They enter their M-Pesa PIN. You get the money in your paybill or till.
  • They get a thank-you. And a receipt by email if they gave one.

Donors abroad can give by card, where your payment company supports it.

Donors give when they trust you

  • Your storyWho you help, in plain words.
  • Real photosTaken with permission. I never show children without a guardian's consent.
  • Where money goesA simple page that shows how donations are used.
  • RegistrationYour registration number and documents, easy to find.
  • Impact storiesShort updates after every project.

Money and rules, honestly

Your payment company must approve your account before real money moves. That is done by them, not by me, and it can take some days. The fees they charge are paid by your NGO.

I build the donation page and connect it. You stay in charge of the money, because it goes to your account, not mine.

  • Donations go straight to your paybill or till
  • Donor details are kept private and handled under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019
  • I send a test payment with you before you go live

What it costs

You can see the idea in the Little Hearts Foundation concept. It is a demo, so the payments there are switched off.

How it works, in four steps

  • You message me. Send your clinic name and a few photos on WhatsApp.
  • In 2 days you see your homepage. It is free. You pay nothing until you love it.
  • I build the rest. You can ask for up to 3 rounds of changes while I build.
  • You go live. The domain is in your name. After the first year you only pay the domain renewal.

If I am late, you get KES 10,000 off. Waiting for Google or the payment company to approve something does not count as late.

Questions NGOs ask me

Do we need a paybill or till first?

You need a way to receive M-Pesa. If you do not have one yet, I tell you which kind to ask for and help you through the steps.

Can donors give every month?

I can add a monthly giving reminder. Automatic monthly M-Pesa payments depend on what your payment company offers, so I check with them first.

Will people find us on Google?

I set the site up so Google understands who you are and where you work. I cannot promise a ranking, but I make sure nothing stops you.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain is in your name.
